Terms and Conditions: Invite a Friend Programme

  1. Introduction

    1. These terms and conditions govern Flagstone’s Invite a Friend Programme (the "Invite a Friend Programme").

    2. Flagstone Ltd ("Flagstone," "we," "us," "our"), a cash savings platform, manages the Invite a Friend Programme.

    3. By participating in the Invite a Friend Programme, both you (as the person inviting your friend) and the person you invite (your friend) agree to these terms.

    4. The Invite a Friend Programme is void where prohibited by law and can’t be used in jurisdictions where such promotions are restricted.

    5. Flagstone reserves the right to remove participants from the promotion if we suspect abuse or fraudulent activity.

    6. The Invite a Friend Programme is only applicable to invitations and accounts created using the unique Invite a Friend link. The promotion cannot be retroactively applied to previous or existing Flagstone applications.

    7. Participation in this programme is subject to all applicable laws and regulations, including regulatory compliance requirements. Flagstone reserves the right to report any suspected misuse to relevant authorities.

  2. Eligibility criteria 

    1. The Invite a Friend Programme is only available when your friend opens an individual or joint account with Flagstone Group Ltd and is not applicable to referrals made via an adviser.

    2. To qualify for the reward, your friend must be a new Flagstone client who has never opened a Flagstone account before.

    3. Your friend must complete the account verification process, including identity verification and compliance checks, before becoming eligible for the reward.

    4. Your friend must fund a Fixed Term savings account with a minimum term of 6 months within 30 working days of their Flagstone account opening.

    5. Your friend’s initial deposit must be at least £10,000 and must remain in the qualifying Fixed Term savings account for the full duration of the term.

    6. The Invite a Friend programme does not apply to clients who have received previous promotional offers or incentives from Flagstone. Flagstone employees are also exempt from this programme.

    7. Flagstone reserves the right to communicate any updates to eligibility criteria for future promotions via official communication channels.

  3. Reward details

    1. Flagstone will send a gift card to both you and your friend once your friend’s deposit has been confirmed. You can spend the gift card at participating stores such as John Lewis, Liberty, and more.

    2. Flagstone will send the reward to the email addresses provided upon joining Flagstone. Rewards cannot be exchanged for cash or any other form of payment.

    3. There is no limit on the number of friends you can invite, provided each meets the eligibility criteria. However, Flagstone reserves the right to cap rewards if misuse or abuse is suspected.

    4. Flagstone will not issue the reward if the deposit term is less than 6 months or if the initial deposit does not meet the minimum funding requirements of £10,000.

    5. You and your friend are responsible for providing us with accurate contact details to receive the reward.

    6. Flagstone reserves the right to delay issuing the reward if additional verification is required. However, rewards will usually be issued within 24 hours of successful verification.

    7. Flagstone is not responsible for lost, expired, or undelivered gift cards once issued.

  4. Promotion period

    1. The Invite a Friend Programme will run from 15/05/2025.

    2. Funds placed before this period will not be eligible.

    3. Flagstone reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the promotion at any time. However, participants who have already qualified for rewards will still receive them.

    4. Flagstone will communicate any changes to the Invite a Friend Programme via official channels.

  5. Restrictions & exclusions

    1. This promotion can’t be combined with any other promotions, including discounts on account fees and charges.

    2. The promotion applies only to Fixed Term savings accounts (minimum term 6 months).

    3. If Flagstone suspects abuse or fraudulent activity, we reserve the right to disqualify participants, withhold rewards, and remove accounts from future promotional eligibility.

    4. Self-invites, invitations between accounts under the same name or ownership, or invitations intended to circumvent eligibility criteria are strictly prohibited.

    5. If your friend cancels their Flagstone account or withdraws funds before the required holding period, Flagstone reserves the right to revoke the reward.
      Exceptions may be considered for extenuating circumstances (for example, serious illness, financial hardship) at Flagstone's discretion.

    6.  If you are a joint account holder at Flagstone and you refer a friend to this programme, only you will receive the reward (subject to these terms and conditions) even if the secondary account holder funds your joint account.
  6. Data protection & privacy

    1. Flagstone will process participant data in accordance with our Privacy Notice and applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.

    2. Personal data may be shared with third parties solely for the purpose of reward issuance (for example, gift card providers).

    3. Flagstone will not use participant personal data for marketing purposes without first obtaining your friend’s consent.

    4. As part of the Invite a Friend Programme, a unique referral link will be generated, which may include a portion of your name or identifier. This link is used solely for tracking referrals and ensuring proper reward distribution.

    5. By accepting these terms and conditions, you consent to the use of your name or identifier within the referral link and acknowledge that this information may be shared with your invited friends for tracking purposes.

  7. Tax & Liability

    1. Participants are responsible for seeking their own tax advice regarding any implications related to the gift cards. Flagstone does not provide tax advice.

    2. Flagstone accepts no liability for any tax obligations or costs arising from participation in the Invite a Friend Programme.

    3. Flagstone is not responsible for delays, lost rewards due to incorrect information, or technical failures affecting reward delivery.

    4. Any claims regarding missing rewards must be made within 90 days of the expected issuance date.

  8. General Terms
     
    1. Flagstone reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

    2. The decision of Flagstone regarding all matters related to the Invite a Friend Programme is final. However, participants may dispute denied rewards within 30 days by contacting the Client Services Team.

    3. Any disputes will be governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.

    4. Flagstone reserves the right to withhold or cancel rewards in cases where eligibility criteria has not been met, or fraudulent activity is suspected.
