Kent Reliance becomes the 46th bank to join the Flagstone platform

Flagstone welcomes Kent Reliance as the latest partner bank to join the cash deposit platform, providing even more choice to clients.

Paul Whitlock, Group Managing Director, Savings said, “We’re delighted to be partnering with Flagstone to offer Kent Reliance products through their efficient savings platform. Together we’ll be able to provide simple and straightforward savings accounts to a wide range of customers, helping their savings to grow.”

Deposits placed with Kent Reliance Bank through the platform are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £85,000 per depositor (and £170,000 for joint accounts)[1] and like all accounts available on the Flagstone platform, the new fixed term deposit accounts from Kent Reliance can be opened and funded at the click of a button.

Thanks to the growing number of partner banks on the platform, Flagstone clients have ongoing exposure to market-leading and exclusive rates and can maximise their FSCS protection through greater diversification. With access to hundreds of deposit accounts from 46 banks through a single application, individuals are now able to benefit from full FSCS protection of deposits of up to £1.79m[2] and joint account holders up to £3.57m[2].

Simon Merchant, Co-Founder and CEO of Flagstone said, “We’re delighted that Kent Reliance has become the latest partner to join our platform, providing even more choice to our clients. The ongoing growth of the number of providers on the platform is great news for clients looking to diversify their cash and is evidence of its significant value as a deposit marketplace for the UK’s banks and building societies”.

Flagstone currently[2] offers individuals, businesses and charities access to 21 exclusive deposit rates and a choice of more than 250 deposit accounts from 46 partner banks.
